There came the day, the day I had to make a huge decision; a decision that would make up the next four years of my life. There was Ventura, Buena, and Foothill. Buena is where most of my friends went. Ventura I also had some friends. But my best friend was coming to Foothill. That is one of the reason I came here. I also came here because I want a good education. Of course this decision was difficult, I almost went to Buena. Good thing I didn’t because I really like this school.
The decision of me coming to Foothill. It wasn’t easy, not at all. People were trying to get me to go to Buena but I was already pretty sure I wanted to go to Foothill. Buena was my second choice. I wanted to come too Foothill since I made up my mind in 7th grade. But when it came time to actually decide I was kind of stuck, I wanted to go to Buena and Foothill. Of course my dad wasn’t much help because he didn’t care witch high school I went to. So after thinking for a while I finally decided to come to Foothill. It felt like forever waiting for the letter to see if I got in or not. When I finally did get it I was very happy. The rest of my family was also happy for me.
On the day of orientation I knew I had made the right choice. I was my friends, some I didn’t expect to see. I didn’t want to make new friends but I ended up making a couple, like only 2. The schedule was weird to me at first, well it still is weird.one the first day of school I didn’t get lost like other freshman did. I actually didn’t get lost until the third or fourth day. I went to Ms. Palfrey’s room instead of Mr. Geib’s. I am glad that I chose to come to Foothill. The kids here are really nice, you can wear like anything you want and not get judged. In most other schools if you are “different” you will most likely get made fun of.
Foothill for me now in the 6th week of school, I like it. I only made two new friends + my old ones. But that’s ok because I don’t like people very much. My teachers are the best! High school is a lot better than middle school. Luckily my teachers don’t give me too much homework. My classes are boring sometimes but probably because they are 1hr and a half long. The food at FootHill is so much better than is was at Anacapa. I actually eat the food they serve here.
In conclusion I am very happy I came too Foothill. If I didn’t come here I would probably hate Buena or Ventura. Foothill is awesome because everybody is really nice here.
